Develop and strengthen your landscape painting skills in this 5-week painting course. This course is geared toward students with some painting ability, although a beginner will benefit as well.

We will focus on not only how to apply the pastels to the paper, or paint to the canvas, but also look at achieving great compositions. We will study how to use a notan, (the pattern of lights and darks) edges, values and how they work with color. Do you question what to leave in, what to take out? This course will address these important questions, also how to create a mood with color.
